Stephen Price-Hughes, CFA®, CFP®, works closely with his clients to create and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies. Stephen develops personalized financial plans, advises clients on a wide variety of investment alternatives, and manages his clients securities portfolios. He also coordinates with other advisors, such as attorneys and accountants, to implement estate and tax planning tactics that optimize clients' goals.
As President and founder of Excelsus Capital Management, Inc., Stephen has more than 25 years of experience in analyzing and managing the financial requirements of individuals and small businesses. Prior to establishing Excelsus Capital Management, Stephen advised high net worth families as a Vice President, Regional Manager and Wealth Management Specialist in the Private Client Services and the Private Banking Groups of two major financial institutions. In these finanical advisory roles, Stephen helped clients develop and implement investment and estate planning strategies. As an independent Registered Investment Advisor, Stephen now enjoys the freedom to deliver his clients personalized, unbiased advice and a diversified array of asset management solutions.
In addition to his vast practical experience, Stephen has globally recognized educational qualifications. He has achieved the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) practitioner. Stephen graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Finance.
Stephen is a member of several professional organizations including the CFA Institute and the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts.
Stephen has spent a majority of his life in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, CA. He continues to reside in Manhattan Beach with his wife and two children.
